Serapio Saavedra, 75 of Clarksville, AR., passed away Monday, November 25, 2019 at his home with his loved ones by his side. Serpio was born January 6, 1944 in Mexico to Fermin and Constansa (Vega) Saavedra. Serpio worked at Tyson till he retired last year. He worked very hard to provide for his family. Serapio loved to spend time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
Serapio is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister. Serpio is survived by his wife of fifty years, Maria (Ugalde) Saavedra of the home; five children: Angelica Saavedra, Samuel Saavedra, Jose Saavedra, Maria Elena Saavedra, and Manuel Saavedra all of Clarksville; sixteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation is 12:00 PM- 5:00 PM on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Rosary Service 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass Service 10:00 A.M on Friday, November 29, 2019 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Clarksville with Father William officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Clarksville, Arkansas
