David Andrew McKinney III, 53, of Clarksville died Friday, July 13, 2012. McKinney was born on Feb. 20, 1959, in Chicago Ill., and was a 1978 graduate of Clarksville High School. He was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.
McKinney formally worked as a heavy machine operator for R & S Coal Company and was an employee of Rock-IT Natural Stone Company.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jean Hickey McKinney.
Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Tanya Davis McKinney; son, Austin McKinney, Clarksville; step daughter, Adrienne Gindler of Clarksville; daughter, Jayme (Dustin) Unruh of Fort Smith; Father, David A. McKinney II of Clarksville; brothers, Daniel (Becky) McKinney of Clarksville; Donald (Julia) McKinney of Greenwood; Dwayne McKinney of Clarksville; sisters, Debbie Talley and Dorothea (B.J. Johnson) McKinney, both of Clarksville; father and mother- in- law, W.L. and Frances Davis of Clarksville; and several nieces and nephews.
Rosery Service is at 6 p.m. on Thursday, followed by visitation until 8 p.m. at the Hardwicke Funeral Chapel.
Funeral Mass begins at 10 a.m. on Friday at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, with Father William Weavers officiating. Burial to follow at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Cemetery.
