Ronald J. Smith, Sr. was born July 8, 1951, in Clarksville, Arkansas to Newt and Mary Sims Smith. He passed away June 4, 2018, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was 66.
He is preceded in death by his father and his sister, Shirley Ann Calahan.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Smith; sons, Ronald Jay Smith, Jr. of Lamar, Arkansas and James Anthony Smith of Lamar, Arkansas; brothers, Timmothy Daryl Smith, Tony Lynn Smith, Ricky D. Smith, Wayne Lee Smith, Dewayne Ray Smith all of Clarksville, Arkansas; sister, Linda Holt of Gentry, Arkansas; two grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Friday, June 8, 2018, at Hardwicke Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas.
Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Amos Pledger officiating. Burial will follow at Minnow Creek Cemetery in Lamar, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Mich Holt, Aaron Smith, Chris Smith, Damon Roberts, Tyler Kinstal, Bo Whitson.
