OBIT
Douglas Lynn Burnett, 61, of Springdale, Arkansas, died October 3, 2014 at the Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born March 27, 1953 at Avalon, Texas, the son of Floyd and Barba Beets Burnett. He was a retired truck driver, a farmer and a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Kristie Krnavek.
Survivors include: his wife, Connie Mock of the home; one son, Ian Burnett of Huntsville, Arkansas; one adopted son, Michael Spencer of Forum, Arkansas; one sister and brother-in-law, Dee Ann and Ben Ramirez of Dale, Texas and three nieces and one nephew-in-law, Jessica Johnson, Jacque and Daniel Peck and Jonna Simon.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P. M. Wednesday, October 8, at the Aurora Cemetery with The Reverend Bill Williams officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be: David Watson, Brian Watson, Bruce McArty, Bill Gibson, Dallas Spencer, Austin Spencer, Tyler Spencer and Shelby Henry. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P. M. to 8:00 P. M. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
