Prairie Grove — Larry D. Howell, 22 of Wichita, Kan. died Friday at a Wichita hospital. Born Sept. 5, 1958 at Fayetteville, he was the son of William Joe and Dorthy Prater Howell and had been employed for the past nine months by Beach Aircraft in Wichita.
Survivors are his mother, Mrs. Timothy L. Smith of Olpe, Kan.; two step-brothers, Craig Watkins of Osage Beach, Mo. and Mark Watkins of Hartford, Mo., one sister, Mrs. Tammy Ashcroft of Dodge City, Kan. and his step-father, Charles Watkins of Elden, Mo.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Barnett Funeral Home in Wichita, Kan. Graveside services and burial will be at Zinnamon Cemetery in Strickler Wednesday at 2 p.m. under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove.
