*Obituary - Vester Felkins
Vester Heartsill “Nap” Felkins, 89 of Clarksville, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2015 in Fayetteville. Mr. Felkins was born January 13, 1926 in Ludwig to, Mr. Burl and Lena (King) Felkins.

He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, and loved to fish and watch Cardinal Baseball, he also taught himself to play the harmonica and guitar, which he played in church with his wife.

Mr. Felkins is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ruth Felkins; and one brother, Dub Felkins

Mr. Felkins is survived by one son, Kevin and Judy Felkins of Clarksville; two daughters, Linda & James Crumrine, and Debra and Ewing Cline all of Clarksville; one brother Bill and Sis Felkins of Clarksville; six grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Mr. Felkins will be 6:00 – 7:00 P.M. Tuesday October 6, 2015 at the Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday October 7, 2015 at the Second Baptist Church, with Bro. Tom Dicus officiating.

Burial will follow in the Mt. Airy Cemetery with Billy Joe Felkins, Brandon Felkins, Brent Crumrine, Eric Cline, Kevin Jones, and Dolan Phillips serving as pallbearers, and the Deacons of Second Baptist Church serving as honorary pallbearers.
