Mount Airy Memorial Cemetery

Arkansas

July 8, 1990 - January 2, 2017

*Obituary
Ashley “Sissy” Wommack, 26, was granted her angel wings on January 2, 2016.

She spent her final days surrounded by family and friends.

She is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Karl and Betty Edmondson; and paternal Grandfather, James Estes Wommack.

Though Ashley’s life seemed too short to many, the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Ashley brought joy to everyone she came across, and although she never spoke a word, her smile and laughter could light up a room.

Ashley possessed strength, perseverance, and the ability to overcome incredible odds and physical challenges. With her courage, she taught us that each day is a blessing and an opportunity to create lasting memories.

Ashley enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and she had a special love for her nephews, Wyatt and Marshall.

We will miss her every day, especially her contagious smile. She will forever remain in the hearts of many.

Ashley leaves behind her mother and father, Sherry and Marshall Wommack, paternal grandmother, Micki McKenzie; brother and sister-in-law, Shawn and Faith Wommack; Brother and his fiancé, Cody Wommack and Karinda Newton; brother, Leslie Wommack; and a countless number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Ashley stole the heart of all she met and it has been a privilege to be her parents.

Visitation will be held 5 to 7:00 p.m., Friday, January 6, 2017 at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville.

Funeral Service will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 7, 2017, at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Glenn Newton and Tom Hunter officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Airy Cemetery in Clarksville.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Edmondson, Kelvin Edmondson, Charles Edmondson, Leslie Baldwin, Mark Wommack, and Ronnie Price. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jessie Prokop and Landon Prokop.
