Shirley Tankersley, 79, of Tulsa, Oklahoma joined her husband Gerald (Dick) Tankersley, in their heavenly home on Sunday, February 7th, 2016. Shirley was born in Arbaugh, Arkansas a daughter to the late, King David and Cynthia Pearl Brown. Shirley was a graduate from Oark AR. High School, She made her living as a bookkeeper in the paint manufacturing industry, she was a christian women and enjoyed sewing, quilting and flower arranging. Along with her parents and husband Shirley was preceded in death by two brothers; Vivian and Hoyte Brown. Left behind to cherish her memories are daughter, Cindy Cloud and husband Terry of Owasso, OK; grandsons, Spencer Allen and wife Jill of Broken Arrow, OK. Zachary Allen and wife Jenni of Catoosa, OK; great-grandchildren, Zanda Bailey and Jakob Allen; brothers; Elton Dwain Brown and wife Dorothy of Clarksville, AR. Dallas (Bug) Brown of Kansas City, KS; sister, Shelby Melson and husband Eugene of Ozone, AR; eight nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends. A private service will be held at a later date.
