Ron went to Eternal resting place on Monday, March 25, 2019 in Morrilton, Arkansas. He was 68 years old; Ron was born on May 5, 1950 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Ora (Dale) Blakslee and Nola (Vernell) Ricketts.

Ron grew up in Norwalk CA. and in September 1969 he joined the United States Army at that time was shipped to Vietnam War he served as a combat Gunner. He received the Bronze Star for meritorious service in Vietnam.

He moved to Paso Robles, CA. in 1985. He met the love of his life Barbara Condran Blakslee 1990 in Paso Robles, CA.

He made Paso Robles his home until 2009 he moved to Clarksville, Arkansas. Where he met Reba (David) Landthrip she took care of him after his Stroke until 2012. He then moved into Norma (Rande) Smith home. Kelly Walker was a caregiver for six years for Ron. He enjoyed Bowling, Golfing, Baseball, and Gambling. He loved watching all sports on TV.

Ron is survived by Norma (Rande) Smith of Clarksville, AR.; His Nephew Keith (Tracy) Blakslee of Phoenix, AZ.; Dalana Johnston of Batesville, Ar.; Deanna Johnston of Cypress, CA. Matthew Johnston of Compton, CA.; Step Mom Jean Cole Blakslee of Santa Ana, CA.; Step Brothers Ken (Janet) Elliott; Linn (Twana) Elliott of Phoenix, AZ.; Numerous Aunt, Uncles and cousins on Bradley and Ricketts side; and numerous adopted family, that loved him lots.

Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Monday, April1, 2019 at the Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Ron’s funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home in Clarksville, AR., with Rev. Audrey Poteet officiating.

Burial will follow in the Mt. Airy Cemetery. Brian Landthrip, Dustin Mitchell, Clint Dewberry, Rande Smith, Logan Patterman and Robert Mitchell will be serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pall bearers: David Landthrip, Terrell Cypert, Roger Hallida, Cayetano Castillo III and Keith Blakslee.

*Obituary - Barbara Jean Blakslee
Barbara Jean Blakslee's spirit left this world Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2009, from her home in San Miguel. She lost her life after a short battle with cancer. Present was her loving husband, Ronald Blakslee, who pampered her to the end.
Barbara was born in May 14, 1943 in Perry, S.D.
Ron and Barbara were united on October 28, 1990. It was love at first sight - they met while enjoying the game she loved, bowling.
The other enjoyments in her life were watching the Seattle Mariners, the Forty-Niners, gambling and listening to oldies music. She really couldn't wait until February for NASCAR to start.
Barbara is also survived by her children Curtis Breen of Medford, Ohio, Teresa Minnis of Colorado Springs, Colo., Imogene Menchen of San Luis Obispo and Stephen Breen of Pleasant Hill, Calif.; six grandchildren; and three sisters Marlene, Lois and Joann. She was predeceased by her parents, Stephen and Imogene Cordran; and sister, Marylou.
She will be missed greatly by her family and all her good friends, especially her wonderful laughter and all her kisses.
