Taylor Alfred Landthrip, 85, passed away November 04, 2020 at his home with his loved ones by his side.

He was born August 23, 1935 to his parents, Taylor Alfred and Leona Mae (Herring) Landthrip.

He worked for Shelter Insurance Company for thirty-five years, was a teacher for the Ola school district and served as circuit Court Judge in Beebe. Taylor served his country in the Army National guard for thirty-eight years retiring with the rank of Major. He loved to travel to South America visiting Bolivia, Peru and Chili and was an avid collector of Indian artifacts especially arrowheads.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Taylor Alfred and Leona Mae (Herring) Landthrip, his first wife of fifty-nine years, Deanna Joyce (Cox) Landthrip; a daughter, Vickie Lee Baldwin; a sister, Donna Lee Landthrip; and a brother, William "Mack" Landthrip.

Taylor is survived by his second wife of five years, Virginia Jackson; a son, Taylor "TY" A. Landthrip and wife, Brooke of Van Buren, AR; and two sisters, Anna Marvel and husband, Bob of Wylie, TX and Connie Atha of Sherwood, AR.

Graveside Service and burial with military honors will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Mt. Airy Cemetery in Ludwig, AR. with Bro. Jake Chism officiating.

We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and encourage all attendees to wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Deanna Joyce Landthrip, 76, of Fort Smith died Sunday, March 9, 2014, in Fort Smith.
She was born Jan. 26, 1938, in Dardanelle to A.D. and Cathryn Fay (Moore) Cox.

Mrs. Landthrip was married Oct. 7, 1957, to the love of her life, Taylor Landthrip. She was of the Church of Christ faith. Deanna, was a decorator, artist (painter), a true Razorback fan and loving mother, wife, grandmother and great-grandmother. She had a very caring and kind heart. She was an LPN and worked alongside her husband for Shelter Insurance for more than 35 years. Mrs. Landthrip spent many years helping her son, Ty, build his business.

Deanna was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Faye Keese.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Taylor Landthrip of Fort Smith; her daughter, Vickie Lee Baldwin of Fort Smith; her son, "Ty" Taylor A Landthrip Jr., and wife Brooke of Van Buran; grandchildren, Cory Baldwin of Lavaca, Logan Taylor Landthrip of Van Buren; great-grandchildren, Bayley and Abby Baldwin of Lavaca; her sister, Emma Grace Westley of Dardanelle; and her brother, A.D. Cox Jr. of Dardanelle.

Visitation will be open at Roller-Cox Funeral Home. Mrs. Deanna's graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Mt. Airy Cemetery with Jake Chism officiating.

Pallbearers will be her nephews, and honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons.
