Ellen L. (Montgomery) Noker, 93, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, in Mountain Home. She was born on December 22, 1927, in DuBois, Pennsylvania. Ellen graduated from DuBois High School in June 1947, and on September 4 married the love of her life, Lawrence E. Noker, shortly after he had returned from serving in World War II. They were married for over sixty years until his death in 2011. Ellen enjoyed doing volunteer work for her church family and her community. She was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church in Mountain Home and served as Eucharistic Adorer for twelve years. She was a volunteer at Baxter Regional Hospital for over twenty years and was a fifteen-year active Pink Lady. Ellen enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and jigsaw puzzles. Her friends and family will cherish her kindness, generosity, wit, and sense of humor. Ellen is survived by her three children: son Michael and wife Sarah (Cameron, Texas), daughter Patricia Noker (Birmingham, Alabama), and daughter Ellen and husband Perry Eekoff (Mesa, Arizona); sister-in-law: Joann Montgomery; four grandchildren; beloved niece Kathy Sackash (Fulshear, Texas); nephew: Joe Bolam (Waynesburg, Pennsylvania), as well as an extended family of cousins, nieces, nephews, and their children. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 1, 2021, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church in Mountain Home. Interment will follow at Baxter Memorial Gardens.
