Marjorie Ann Gunter, age 87, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away Sunday, June 21, 2015, in Mountain Home. She was born October 27, 1927 in Camargo, Illinois to Charles Worthington and Amanda I. (Feeler) Dyke.
Mrs. Gunter married George Lawrence Gunter June 21, 1952, in Hammond, Indiana. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She worked for Sears and Roebucks for several years and after moving to Mountain Home she was a preneed counselor for Roller Funeral Home and Citizen Fidelity Insurance Company.
Mrs. Gunter is survived by a son Michael George Gunter and wife Helen of Mountain Home, two daughters Sandra Jean Teague and husband Dusty and Jeri Lynn Row and husband Edward "Allen Edwards" of Branson West, Missouri, three sisters Josephine Nowak of Calumet, Illinois, Carolyn Goenenwein of Dyer, Indiana and Shirley Moore of Mountain Home, Arkansas, a brother David Dyke of Carmargo, Illinois, eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers Charles, James and Donald and two sisters Mary Louise and Ruth.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 27, 2015, at the First Presbyterian Church with Reverend Nancy Taylor officiating. A visitation will be Friday from Noon - 9:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Baxter Memorial Gardens Mausoleum of Faith.
Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home.
