James White, 75, of Cabot passed from this life on June 17, 2018. He was born May 20, 1943 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Scott and Lurline Shelby White. James enjoyed collecting antique glassware and cars. He had a great love for animals, adopting and rescuing several. James was a member of First Baptist Church in Cabot, a 1961 graduate of Jacksonville High School, and proudly served his country in the United States Army Reserve.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-six years, Anita White; children, Derek (Debbie) White of Mountain View, Damon (Patty) White of Tulsa, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Isabella White, James Patrick White.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home. Interment will be private. Arrangements entrusted to Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home (501) 982-2136.
