Clayton "Claybo" Rowton, age 53, of Hot Springs, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018.

He was born on Nov. 11, 1964, in Marianna, the son of Denver Richard Rowton and Norma Lee Cooper Rowton. He was preceded in death by his parents; and four brothers, James Richard Rowton, Dago Rowton, Bobby Rowton and Charles Rowton. On Oct. 21, 2000, he was married to Tammy Gilbert.

He worked for Haliburton. Clayton enjoyed following the Razorbacks, but loved being a Papa. He loved taking his sidekick, Colt, to see the horses at the track and letting him help him in the yard and flower beds.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy Rowton; his son and daughter-in-law, Brandon and Dayna Garrett; his daughter and son-in-law, Tiffany and John Murphy, all of Hot Springs; his grandchildren, Colt Murphy, Dylan Pearson and his wife, Heather, and Brittney Murphy; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Jackie and Teresa Rowton, of Hot Springs, John Paul and Betty Rowton, of Conway, Albert "Possum" and Betty Rowton, of Lonoke, and Hodge and Janeice Rowton, of Glenwood; his sister-in-law, Mae Rowton, of Junction City; his nephew, Tripper Rowton and wife, Andrea, of El Dorado; his special niece, Ashley Bentley, of Junction City; and several nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home chapel, Hot Springs, with Brother Darryle Sulton officiating.

Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Hollywood Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Tony Abernathy, Jeremy McCormick, Chad Brunt, John Brunt, Chris Mobley and Jimmy Buck.
