Alvin B. Reaves, Jr., formerly of Jacksonville, Arkansas; passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at McCracken Nursing and Rehab in Paducah, Kentucky. He was a United States Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his mother Betty Hartless. He is survived by his father, Alvin and Florence Reaves of Hazen, his step-father JW Hartless of Paducah, KY, three brothers, Donald Reaves (Jewel) of Louisville, KY, Ronnie Reaves (Angie) of Paducah KY, Lonnie Reaves (Martha) of Paducah, KY, nine children; Savannah, Alvin Reaves III of Greenbrier, Arkansas, Chassidy Newson of Texas, Brandi McCall, Katelyn Reaves, Alissa Reaves, Megan Reaves of Lisbon, Ohio, Alison and Anna Hartless of Paducah, KY and Brandon Reaves, seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 9, 2015 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home with J.R. Hill officiating. Visitation will be from at 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Arrangements by Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home & Crematory.
