Errol Dean Gay of Clarksville, Arkansas was born on April 3, 1952 in Odessa, Texas to Thomas and Irene Gay. He passed away on March 12, 2021 in Fort Smith, Arkansas at the age of 68. He was an Air Force Veteran, Past Commander and Current Adjutant of the American Legion and Past Commander and Current Adjutant of the Sons of American Legion.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Gay of the home; his son, Corey Gay and wife, April of Scranton, Arkansas; his daughters, Mandy Melvin of Odessa, Texas; Paula Kimbriel and husband, Rickey of Altus, Arkansas; his brothers, Michael Gay of Clarksville, Arkansas; Thomas Gay, Jr. and wife, Sherry of Belton, Texas; his eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild and one great-grandchild on the way

Visitation is from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m., Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at the Hardwicke Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas.

Funeral Services are 2 p.m., Thursday, March 18, 2021 at the Hunt Gospel Tabernacle in Hunt, Arkansas with Brother Joh Hodge and Brother Rickey Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery in Clarksville, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Bryer Bowles, Kyler Kimbriel, John Dalton, Rickey Kimbriel, Lewis Labryer, Tom McCombs, Johnny Bowles, and Blake Dalton. Honorary Pallbearer is Corey Gay.
