Jim Dickerson, 82, of Clarksville died Monday, Jan. 18, 2010, in Clarksville. He was born Dec. 5, 1927. He was a native of Clarksville, son of the late James Wesley Dickerson Sr. and Lillie May Boen Dickerson

He was a 1945 graduate of Clarksville High School, a member of First United Methodist Church, a Navy veteran of World War II, a former co-owner of OK Food Market and a cattle farmer.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, N. E. Dickerson, J. R. Dickerson, and Bill Dickerson; and four sisters, Anna Moore, Pearl Whitson, Lottie Morgan, and Monetta Hadley.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. David Hanshaw officiating.Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Winnie Hudson Dickerson; one son, Jimmy Dickerson and wife, Debra, of Clarksville; stepmother, Ila Dickerson of Clarksville; one sister, Bonnie Dickerson of Fort Smith; and two grandchildren, Matthew Mink and James Dickerson, both of Clarksville.

Pallbearers were Steve Edmisten, Chris, Michael and Greg Dickerson, Wesley and Phillip Plugge.
Honorary pallbearers were the South Town Coffee Group.

Winnie May Dickerson was born on December 2, 1931 in Clarksville, Arkansas to Oliver and Mamie (Ford) Hudson. She passed away November 14, 2020 in Clarksville, Arkansas at the age of 88. She was a grocery store co-owner, and was of the Methodist faith.

She is proceeded in death by her parents; her husband, James W. Dickerson, Jr.; her brothers, Cecil, Reece, and Alton Hudson; and one sister, Jaunita King.

She is survived by her son, James Wesley (Debra) Dickerson III; and two grandchildren, James Wesley Dickerson IV, and Matthew Mink.

Visitation is from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at the Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas.

Funeral Services are 2 p.m., Thursday, November 19, 2020 at the Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas with Brother Joe Lockridge officiating. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery in Clarksville, Arkansas.
