Justin James, 87, of Clarksville died Monday, February 14, 2005, in his home. He was born June 14, 1917, in Mobley. He was a city councilman of Clarksville from 1967 to 1970, a Democrat committeeman of Johnson County, a member of Johnson County Fox Hunters Association, and former baseball coach for the Gallaway Lumber Co. baseball team.

Funeral was held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel in Clarsville with burial at Woodland Cemetery in Clarksville.

He is survived by his wife, two sons, a brother and three grandchildren.

Mildred Faye Jones was born on December 20, 1921, in Ozark, AR to Ernest and Annie (Dobbs) Hardgrave.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Justin James and one sone, William S. James.

Survivors include her son, Robert L. James of Clarksville, daughter - law, Branda Jones of Hartman and three grandchildren; Meredith James, Todd James, Eric James.

Visitation will be held for 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday, July 8, 2018, at Hardwicke Chapel in Clarksville.

Graveside Services will be held at 10 a.m., Mondy July 9, 2018, at Woodland Cemetery in Clarksville with Cris Case Officiating. Pallbearers will be Todd James, Eric James, Greggg Robison, Larry Guthrie. Honorary pallbearers will are Sheldon Stepp and Verlon Harris
