Walter Gene Nowotny was born on March 5, 1932, in Clarksville, Arkansas to Elmer and Maggie (Masterson) Nowotny.
He passed away on January 26, 2018, in Clarksville, Arkansas at the age of 85. He was a mechanic and the owner of Nowotny Service Station in Clarksville.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Willive (Garland) Nowotny; sons Larry and wife, Stacy Nowotny of Clarksville, Mark and wife, Jackie Nowotny of Clarksville, daughter; Connie James and husband Jerry of Fayetteville, Arkansas, brother; Tom Nowotny and wife, Tennie of Fort Smith, Arkansas, nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at Woodland Baptist Church in Clarksville, Arkansas.
Funeral services will follow visitation at 2:00 p.m. at Woodland Baptist Church in Clarksville with Reverend Bob Powers and Reverend Sam Howell officiating.
Burial will be at Woodland Cemetery in Clarksville, Arkansas.
Pallbearers will be Jonathon Simpson, Jacob Nowotny, Connor Nowotny, Tyler Bernard, Darrell Williams and Nathan Williams.
