Elizabeth Ellen Clark Meek, 80, of Clarksville died Tuesday, October 13, 2020. She was born February 9, 1940 in El Paso, Texas to Ina Mae and Turner R. Clark of Eddy, Texas. Soon after the family moved to Clarksville, Arkansas she met her husband of almost 61 years, Donald L. Meek. Liz was a devoted wife, mother and Christian where she was a member of First Baptist Church and was a Sunday School teacher for 20 years. She loved being on the farm, riding horses, rodeoing, being with her family, but her heart was in the Church and teaching children about Jesus. Liz was employed with Farmers Bank of Clarksville, until her husband was elected Johnson County Sheriff where she then worked as the Tax Collector and then she completed her years of work with Entergy at Arkansas Nuclear One in Russellville where she retired after 13 years.

Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Donald Laster Meek, her children Bobby Meek (wife Melissa) of Clarksville, Chris Meek Arnold (husband Greg) of Clarksville and Fred Meek of Fayetteville; grandchildren Brintley Brooke “BB” Arnold of Virginia, Stephanie Dale Dicamillo of Clarksville, Arkansas, Bobby Don Meek of Clarksville; two great-grandchildren, Kale Houston and Fallon Houston of Clarksville; her brother Reggie Clark (wife Rebecca) and their two children, Stephan (wife Hollie) and Caleb Clark, Jeff (wife Sterling), Ellis and Major Clark all of Lubbock, Texas.

Services are Saturday, October 17 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Clarksville with Reverend Darrell
Bridges officiating and burial will follow at Union Grove Cemetery in Clarksville.

Active Pallbearers are Stephen Clark, Jeff Clark, Greg Arnold, Mike Meek, Kale Houston and Jason Dicamillo.

Honorary Pallbearers are Brooke “BB” Arnold, Stephanie Dicamillo, Fallon Houston, Bobby Don Meek, Reggie Clark and Jimmy Willis.
