Fred Carl Dougan, age 71, of Clarksville passed away at his home on Monday, March 8, 2021.
He was born December 28, 1949 in Clarksville to Carl and Marie Turner Dougan.

He was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church and attended First Baptist Church in Clarksville. He was an employee of Hilton Motor Company, Eureka Brick and Tile, Clarksville Machine Works and retired from Mid South Roller after 32 years. He was a coach of little league baseball, past member of the Clarksville City Council, and Planning and Zoning Commission.

He loved his family, Arkansas Razorback sports, his cabin, and hunting.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law Charles and Florence Clinton and brothers-in-law Steve Griffin, Don Phillips, Ron Liebschwager and Carl Reed.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Marlene Reed Dougan, one son Cheyne (Heather) Dougan of Clarksville, one daughter Piper (Don) Beaudin of Vilonia, Arkansas, seven grandchildren Baylee Dougan, Grace Dougan and Kaden Dougan all of Clarksville, Molly Reed and Luke Halsted of Vilonia, Arkansas, Dawson Beaudin and Reece Beaudin of Guy, Arkansas, two brothers, Claud Dougan and Don (Wanda Frantz) Dougan of Clarksville, two sisters, Carolyn Griffin of Hartman, Arkansas and Barbara Phillips of Alix, Arkansas, one brother-in-law, Jim (Monica) Clingman of Dallas, Texas, one sister-in-law Sheila Liebschwager of Whitney, Texas and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends that he dearly loved.

Visitation is from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at the Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas.

Funeral Services are 10 a.m., Thursday, March 11, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Clarksville, Arkansas with brother Darrell Bridges and Brother Bob Freeman officiating. Burial will follow at Union Grove Cemetery in Clarksville, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Darby Johnson, Truman Phillips, David Phillips, Fred Phillips, Jamie Payne and Baylee Dougan. Honorary Pallbearers are past and present Mid South Roller Employees.
