A Funeral Service for Leona Margaret Warner of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 10:00 am, Thursday, July 24, 2014, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 23, 2014 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel.
Leona passed away July 21, 2014, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 83. She was born September 24, 1930, in Kyles Ford, Tennessee, the daughter of George and Ida Viola Nichols Anderson. Leona lived in Mountain Home since moving from Chicago, Illinois, in 1977. She was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting and flowers. Leona was a hostess at the McDonald's at Wal-Mart in Mountain Home for six years.
Leona is survived by her son, William (Vickie) Warner of Mountain Home, AR; four grandchildren and eight great-granchlidren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons, Ray and Donald Jordan; and brother Pat Anderson.
Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas. Memorials may be made to Cancer Society. Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
