John Lee Burrus, age 85, of Beebe, went to be with his heavenly father on August 22, 2017. After 47 years, John retired from Tennessee Valley Electric Supply Company as an Office Manager. He was a member of Northside Church of Christ in Beebe. John proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his wife Eva Joyce Burrus; three sons, Steven Burrus and wife Robin of Morrilton, David Burrus and wife Lori of Tumbling Shoals and Darren Burrus and wife Jennifer of Thompson Station, Tennessee; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by one son Randall Burrus.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday, August 25, 2017 at Northside Church of Christ in Beebe, with burial in Antioch Cemetery. Arrangements by Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. www.smithfamilycares.com.

Joyce Burrus, 84, of Beebe, passed away Friday, March 12, 2021. She was born April 6, 1936 to the late Everett and Annie Healy.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John, and son, Randy. She was a member of Northside Church of Christ. Eva retired from the Beebe School District where she was the secretary to the Superintendent. She then finished her degree at Harding University and became a realtor for Century 21.
She is survived by her three sons: Steven (Robin) of Morrilton; David (Lori) of Tumbling Shoals; Darren (Jennifer) of Thompson Station, Tenn.; seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday March 23, 2021 from 10-11 a.m. at Northside Church of Christ in Beebe, with graveside service following at 11:30 a.m. at Antioch Cemetery.
