Funeral Services for Maye Stephenson of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. David Johnson and Rev. Max Pyron officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. She died Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at her residence at the age of 93. Maye was born March 13, 1917 in Atlanta, IL, the daughter of James H. and Blanche Brandt Williams. She married George F. Stephenson on August 22, 1936 at Peoria, Illinois. She worked as a Bank Employee for 25 years. Maye lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas for 30 years moving from Downers Grove, Illinois. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She loved to cook, read and be active in her church. Maye is survived by one grandson - Matthew and his wife Janell Stephenson of Durango, CO. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, George F. Stephenson and one son Gordon. Entombment will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church.s for Viola Maye Stephenson, 93, of Mountain Home, Arkansas. Viola Stephenson died Wednesday, September 29, 2010, at her residence.
