Dorothy J. Dingler, 82, a resident of Mountain Home passed peacefully Saturday, February 25, 2012, in Mountain Home with family at her side. She was born December 21, 1929, in Tomato, Arkansas to the late Louis and Fannie Lucille Butler Malone. Dorothy married Max Milford Dingler on September 8, 1945, in Blytheville, Arkansas. Dorothy's hobbies were gardening, especially roses, cooking and most importantly her family. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Arvil, Virgil and Leon Malone; a daughter-in-law, Judy Dingler and a granddaughter, Dawn Kirkland. Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Max Dingler of Mountain Home; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Larry Dingler of Sycamore, Illinois and Maxie and Alissa Dingler of Houston, Texas; three daughters and sons-in-law, Linda Louise and Jerry Stancil of Mountain Home, Diane and Barny Novotny of Mountain Home and Juanita "Nita" and James Srkala of Katy, Texas; a brother and sister-in-law, Marshall "Tink" and Inez Malone of Blytheville; seven grandchildren, Scarlet Brady of Malta, Illinois, Rob Kirkland of New Port Richey, Florida, Wendi Kirkland of Lindenhurst, Illinois, Melanie (Mike) Beam of Mountain Home, Crystal Novotny of Mountain Home, James Srkala of Spring, Texas and Ashley Dingler of Houston, Texas; seven great grandchildren; the family dog, Tasha and other relatives and friends. The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 28, 2012, at the Conner-Hankins Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Hughes officiating. Entombment will be in Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery near Mountain Home under the direction of Conner-Hankins Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Larry Dingler, Barny Novotny, Jerry Stancil, James Srkala, Mike Beam and Rob Kirkland. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday at the funeral home. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.
