A Funeral Service with Military Honors for Richard "Dick" Eugene Albertson of Gassville, Arkansas, will be 3:00 pm, Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Vince Daniel officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 19, 2019, from 2:00 pm, until service time, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum, Mountain Home, Arkansas.

Dick passed away November 13, 2019, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 72. He was born March 2, 1947, in Breckenridge, Minnesota, the son of Rudolph and Elizabeth Lipovsky Albertson. Dick was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He married Betsy Gransee on October 16, 1984, in Anoka, Minnesota, and was a deputy sheriff for Anoka County Sheriff's Department. Dick lived in Gassville since moving from Minnesota, in 1995. He enjoyed mowing the pasture, tinkering with mechanics, and spending time with his granddaughter and his dog.

Dick is survived by his wife, Betsy Albertson of Gassville, AR; daughter, Rachel Albertson of Gassville, AR; two step-sons, CMSgt Donald (Monica) Gransee of England, and Joe (Erica) Gransee of DeFuniak Springs, FL; granddaughter, Timber Wilson; grandson, Jake Mowrey; two brothers, Loren and Gary Albertson; and two sisters, JoAnn Meyer, and Twyla Ler.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and sisters, Connie Seibold and Maxine Miller.

Memorials may be made to Rocky Ridge Refuge.

Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services - Mountain Home, Arkansas.
