Mildred "Millie" Barnes passed away November 13, 2017, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 89. She was born June 18, 1928, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, the daughter of Anton and Olga Voronka Griskavich. She worked as a Travel Agent for Kovachik Travel, and married Jack Barnes on June 24, 1967, in Claremont, New Hampshire. Millie lived in Mountain Home since moving from Delavan, Wisconsin, in 1995. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Mountain Home, and she enjoyed quilting and sewing.

Millie is survived by her husband, Jack Barnes of Mountain Home, AR and step-son, Mike Barnes of San Pedro, CA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Walter Griskavich and sister, Helen Koos.

A Memorial Service for Millie will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, November 20, 2017, at the Chapel at Good Samaritan Village.

Entombment will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum, Mountain Home, Arkansas.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks or the American Legion Auxiliary.

Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
