A Funeral Service for Harvey Dean Lawrence of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Friday, December 2, 2016, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Chaplain Susie Wilson officiating. Visitation will be Friday, December 2, 2016, from 1:00 until service time, at the Funeral Home.

Harvey passed away November 29, 2016, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 84. He was born July 6, 1932, in Morrilton, Arkansas, the son of Harvey and Minnie Lawrence. Harvey grew up and graduated high school in Ozark, Arkansas. He worked as a conductor for the railroad. Harvey was a U.S. Army veteran and lived in Mountain Home for 20 years moving from Kansas City, Missouri. He loved hunting, fishing and woodworking.

Harvey is survived by his wife, Caryleen Gambrel of Mountain Home, AR; daughter, Deanna Paulson of Kansas City, MO; sister, Mallie Shirley of Mountain Home, AR; brother, Gene Lawrence of Bonnett Mills, MO; stepchildren, Orville (Linda) Gambrel of Edgerton, KS, Lois (Dennis) McIlvain of Harrison, AR and Betty Scaletty of Fair Grove, MO; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, William Lawrence and sisters, Helen Gambrel and Florene Kinsworthy.

Entombment will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum, Mountain Home, Arkansas. Military Honors will be provided by the Ozark V.F.W. Post # 3246 and United States Army Honor Guards.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.

Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
