Lowess Lavina Jasper, 89 of Gravette passed away Friday, August 12, 2016 at her home in Gravette. She was born November 14, 1926 in Decatur, Arkansas to John William and Eva Lillian McConnell Peterson.
She worked many years at Gravette Manor Nursing Home as Medical Records Clerk; and as a nurse at Peterson’s Processing in Decatur. She enjoyed growing flowers, crafts, and painting. At the age of 82, she returned to college for art.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl M Jasper, one son, Jay Mac Jasper and her parents.
Survivors include one son, Virgil Jasper and wife Tina of Gravette and one sister, Roberta Lee Peterson Hopkins of Gentry.and many other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be 2PM, Monday, August 15, 2016 at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Centerton with Jheri Roberts and Larry Hendren officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Gravette.
Visitation will be Monday from 1 to 2pm at the church.
