When William Harvey Yancey was born on January 2, 1906, in Rose Bud, Arkansas, his father, William, was 29 and his mother, Lula, was 24. He had three daughters with Vona M Yancey. He then married Evelyn Horton on November 9, 1943. He died on April 16, 1970, at the age of 64, and was buried in Beebe, Arkansas.
