Lila Ada West was born in October 1889 in Arkansas, the daughter of William. She married O J Love on November 3, 1907. She then married George F Gilliland and they had two children together. She died on August 7, 1944, at the age of 54, and was buried in Beebe, Arkansas.

When George F Gilliland was born in November 1865 in Gibson, Tennessee, his father, William, was 21 and his mother, Nancy, was 16. He was married three times and had six sons and two daughters. He died on December 2, 1929, in Lonoke, Arkansas, at the age of 64, and was buried in Beebe, Arkansas.
