James Richard Lattimer, 38, of Decatur,
died Saturday, June 21, 1986 at the Gravette
Medical Center Hospital.
He was born October 7, 1947 in Pecos, Tex.,
to George and Olive Upson Lattimer. He was
a policeman for the City of Decatur having
graduated from the Police Academy at Camden.
He was a member of the Decatur Assembly of
God Church.
Survivors include his wife, Freda; four
step sons, Charles, Johnny, Cody, and Shawn
Buffer of the home; his mother, Mrs. Olive
Hacker of Decatur; one sister Linda Gregory
of Decatur; one half brother, Robert
Zimmerman of Ohio; one half sister, Carol
Sherman of Tulsa and one step brother, Larry
Hacker of Kentucky.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m.
at the Decatur Assembly of God Church with
Rev.James Berry officiating Burial was at
Georgia Flats Cemetery under the direction
of Callison-Lough.
Memorial contributions may be made in the
name of James Richard Lattimer to the
Decatur State Back.
Pallbearers were Bruce Rutherford,
Jose Chacon,Bill Burnett. Mike Prather,
Danny Voyles and Richard Duncan,
Alternate: Jerry Norman and Jane McAdos.
