Shirley Mae Cook of Hartman, Arkansas was born on September 29, 1936 in Clarksville, Arkansas to Jake and Eunice Goodin Beck. She passed away on October 5, 2020 in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 84. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Clarksville, Arkansas.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Sam Cook; her brothers, Lonnie Beck, Gene Beck, and Gurvis Campbell; her half-brothers, Ernest Beck and Johnny Beck.
She is survived by her daughters, Connie Epperson of Hartman, Arkansas; Becky Farris and husband, Mike of Clarksville, Arkansas; Jo Wadley and husband, Vince of Lamar, Arkansas; Darlene Forehand and husband, Rusty of Clarksville, Arkansas; her brother, James Beck, Jr.; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., Thursday, October 8, 2020 at the Hardwicke Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas.
A graveside service is 2 p.m., Friday, October 9, 2020 at the Hartman Cemetery in Hartman, Arkansas with Reverend Bill Caldwell officiating. Pallbearers are Vince Wadley, Mike Farris, Rusty Forehand, Bruce Epperson, Jimmy Beck, Charles Smith, and Jake Smith. Honorary Pallbearer is James Beck, Jr.
