Ernest Hern was born March 28, 1951 in Wabash, Arkansas and passed away August 9, 2107 in Knoxville, Arkansas, at the age of 66. He was a Federal Technician and an Army National Guard Veteran.

He is preceded in death by father, John W. Hern; and brothers, John Wayne Hern and Timmy Eugene Hern.

Survivors include his mother, Earline Hern of Knoxville; sons, Tissie Ernest Hern Jr. and wife Frances of Knoxville, Timmy Enos Hern and wife Rochelle of Midway, Joshua Adam Hern of Alabama, Jonathan Joy Hern of Knoxville, and Jayden Adam Hern of Knoxville; daughters, Rebecca Jane Foreman of Lamar, Bonnie Dean Dixon and husband Steven of Clarksville, Jolene Ann Hern and husband Josh Moon of Knoxville, Meggan Jennifer McCutcheon and husband Seth of Knoxville; brothers, Danny Frank Hern and wife Edna of Clarksville, Donnie Ray Hern and wife Donna of Hartman, Kenneth Douglas Hern and wife Brenda of Ozone; sister, Lois Ann Galvan and husband Richard of Clarksville; 20 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held 2 to 4 PM Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Hardwicke Funeral Home chapel.

Service will be held 2 PM Monday, August 14, 2017 at Hartman Baptist Church with Jeff Mize officiating. Burial will be at the Hartman Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Hern, Zach Hern, John Hern, Cory Hern, Danny Hern Jr., and Josh Moon

Honorary Pallbearers will be nephews and Steven Dixon.
