Donald Eugene Elkins of Hartman, Arkansas, was born October 9, 1939 in Clarksville, Arkansas, and passed away November 18, 2016, in Clarksville, at the age of 77. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Dock and Mayme Reed Elkins; three brothers: Bob, Bill, and Vernon Elkins; and a sister, Viv Bynum.
Donald is survived by his wife, Jean Johnson Elkins of Hartman; a son, Dondi Elkins and wife, Becky, of Hartman; a daughter, Melissa Walker and husband, Allen, of Hartman; a sister, Betty Resimont Sims of Clarksville; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, November 22, 2016, at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas.
Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville with Reverend David Willis officiating. Burial will follow in Hartman Cemetery in Hartman, Arkansas.
