Arthur Peter Chavez, 88, of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Bradenton, Florida, passed away February 25, 2021 in Tulsa.
He was born October 17, 1932 in Los Angeles, California to the late, Pedro and Elvira ''Vera'' (Perez) Chavez.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by four brothers; Alfred ''Freddie'', Andres ''Andy'', Juan ''Johnny'' and Ernesto ''Ernie'' Chavez.

Arthur is survived by his wife of 30 years Linda (Houston) Chavez of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Bradenton, Florida; five children; Melanie King-Turner (Ray) of Tulsa, Laurie Chavez (Jim), Larry Chavez (Anna), Corey Skriver (Brad) all of California and Trudi Malis (Bernie) of Oregon; fifteen grandchildren; Zachary Bates, Maggie Turner, Dustin Skriver (Rossy), Krysta Stier (Jason), Lauren Bracamontes (Rafael), Marissa Caingcoy (Weston), Nicholas Skriver (Nicole), Jack Chavez, Elise Chavez, Kanan Malis, Kaeley Skriver, Wesley Chavez, Riley Malis, Everett Malis, and Chavelle Malis; six great grandchildren; Addilyn Skriver, Rafael Bracamontes, Caleb Skriver, Eliana Bracamontes and Isla Skriver; four siblings; Armando ''Mando'' Chavez, Albert Chavez, Madeline ''Nena'' Jimenez; and Patricia ''Patsy'' Valenzuela, all of California; and many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel Friday, March 5, 2021 at 6:00-8:00 PM. Funeral service will be held at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 02:00 PM with Father William Wewers, OSB officiating. Burial will follow at West Mount Zion Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
