Norman L. (T.0.) Keene, 85, of Jane, Mo., died Sunday, March 27, 2016, at home surrounded by his loving wife and family.

He was born in Caverna, Mo., on March 20, 1931, to Norman A. and Mary E. (Leach) Keene. He was one of nine children; he had three brothers and five sisters.

He graduated from White Rock (Mo.) High School in 1950. After serving his country with honors in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict, he returned to a life of farming in Jane.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Fern Poe, Nell D'Angelo, Pat Farris and Emma Nichol; and two brothers, Reece Edwards and Robert (Bob) Edwards.

He is survived by his bride of 58 years, Wilma (Main) Keene of the home; sister, Mary Lou Ford and brother, Clyde Keene and wife, Betty, all of Jane; one son, Vernon Keene and wife, Brenda, of Jane; two daughters, Renee Lett and husband, Rod, of Noel, Mo., and Dianne Waybright of Wyandotte, Okla.; one granddaughter, Ashlee Waybright; four grandsons, Logan Lett, Kent Keene, Rylan Lett and Rustin Lett; one great-granddaughter, Coley Lett; and a host of family and friends that will miss him dearly.

Visitation will be held at the Bella Vista Funeral Home, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark., on Friday, April 1, 2016, from 6 to 8 p.m. with a graveside memorial being held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 2, 2016. Jamie Cope will officiate at the Dug-Hill Cemetery, Intersection of Highway 71 and 340 (Town Center) Bella Vista.
