ROGERS — Rachel Royce Neal, 84, of Rogers passed away Dec. 2, 2020, at Ashley Health and Rehab in Rogers. She was born April 26, 1936, in Rogers, the daughter of Winn and Kathleen Dauben Croxdale.
She graduated from Rogers High School in 1953, attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and University Arkansas For Medical Sciences.
She was united in marriage to Paul Neal on June 4, 1956, in Rogers, Ark. She was a member of the Bella Vista Presbyterian Church and Beta Sigma Phi.
Royce moved from Rogers to Bella Vista in 1995. She was a homemaker most of her life and operated a private kindergarten in the early 1960s. She then taught and tutored part time for several years. Royce had a love for her family, children and dogs, especially her golden retrievers.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Paul Neal, who passed Nov. 8, 1998.
She is survived by son Gary Neal and wife Erin of Rogers; grandchildren Steven Neal and wife Allyson of Knoxville, Tenn., Tyler Wilder and Logan Baker, both of Rogers; and great-grandchildren Benton Neal and Ellis Neal.
A private family graveside service will be held Saturday, Dec. 5, at the Rogers Cemetery, Rogers, Ark. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions to the Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville or the Humane Society of Rogers. Arrangements by Benton County Funeral, 306 N. 4th, Rogers.
