C. L. “Buck” Skinner, age 65, of Kensett, Arkansas, passed from this life December 23, 2005. He was born to James Franklin and Minnie Defeo May (Weaver) Skinner on April 11, 1940, in Judsonia community. Mr. Skinner was of Baptist faith and a retired truck driver for Land O’ Frost.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and one brother. He leaves behind his wife, Barbara Skinner of Kensett; five children, David Skinner of Texas, Sandra Bradley of Texas, Carthel Skinner, Jr. of Higginson, Loran Shaffer of Kensett and Becky Lawson of Kensett; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, June M. Skinner of Searcy and a sister, Mary Jane Frick of Del City.
Visitation begins noon Monday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 26, 2005, at Westbrook Funeral Home. www.westbrookfuneralhome.com
