Bartha Ann Howard, 77, of Beebe, Arkansas, was born June 26, 1937, and she died Monday, August 4, 2014. She was a former member of Beebe VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and a member of McArthur Assembly of God. She enjoyed racing stock cars and playing 31 with friends. Martha was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, and acquired all her grey hair from watching Bob and Cheri race motocross.
She is survived by her son, Bob Howard; daughter Cheri Wood (Rodney); grandchildren, Sierra Wood and Casey Wood, all of Beebe; sister Carolyn Toney (Howard) of Jacksonville; and nephews Hal Toney, Eddie Toney and Terry Toney. Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Howard; her parents, Tom and Nora Gordon; and her brother, Tommy Gordon.
Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Friday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday, August 9, 2014, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Stoney Point Cemetery.
