Mr. David L. Samuel, age 74 of Hope, Arkansas passed away, Friday, February 2, 2018 in Little Rock, Arkansas. David was born in Hope, Arkansas on November 22, 1943 to Hollis Samuel and Merle Honeycutt Samuel. He was a retired cattle farmer and he loved being on his farm and working with his cattle. He had served one tour in Vietnam and was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Hope. David is preceded in death by his parents, Hollis and Merle Samuel.

David is survived by his wife of 34 years Doris Samuel of Deann, Arkansas, five sons: Nathan Whitt (Sherry) Alto, TX, Freddie Whitt (Lisa) of Deann, Tommy Samuel (Ladonna) of Hope, Timmy Samuel of Hope and Aaron Samuel (Marlena) of Tyler, TX, two daughters: Brenda Hartness (Ray) of Nashville, AR and Penny Turner of Texarkana, AR numerous grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, other family members and friends.

Visitation 2:00 to 4:00pm on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home 1001 S. Main.

Funeral service 2:00pm on Monday, February 5, 2018 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home with Bro. John Nations officiating. Burial will be in White Oak Grove Cemetery in Deann. Arrangements are with BRAZZEL/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope, Eddie BRAZZEL, Director.
