Funeral services for Reece Watkins who died last Tuesday at his home in Winslow were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Brentwood Church by Dee Smith assisted by Floyd Parker. Pallbearers were Oscar Hughes, Ted Hughes, Gene Hughes, Lawrence Watkins, J. R. Watkins and Millard Watkins.
Burial was in Brentwood cemetery under the direction of Moore's Chapel.

Mrs. Rilla Vesta Watkins, 95, of Springdale, died Wednesday at a Springdale hospital. Born Dec. 1, 1898 at Brentwood, she was the daughter of George Ellis and Eva Bell Baker Hughes and the widow of Reece Watkins. She was a homemaker, a lifetime resident of the area and a member of the Non Denominational Church.
Survivors are a son, Rev. Amos L. Watkins of Winslow; four brothers, Seth Hughes of Tieton, Wash., Carl Hughes and Phineus Ramey, both of Brentwood, and Robert Ramey of West Fork; three sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Bridenthal of North Little Rock, Mrs. Macy Kay and Mrs. Velvia Quinn of Springdale; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Moore's Chapel and burial at Brentwood Cemetery.
