WEST FORK — George Forgy Moore, 78, of West Fork died Oct. 4, 2007, at Washington Regional Medical Center.

He was born Nov. 2, 1928, in Ulysses, Kan., to Lewis W and Mary Forgy Moore. He was a cattle farmer and a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Ethel Faye Branson Moore; two sons, Dennis D. Brock of West Fork and Waco Fred Brock of Denham Springs, La.; one daughter, Gayla Sweetser of Little Rock; one stepdaughter, Betty Sherrid of West Fork; four brothers, Robert Lewis Moore of Ulysses, Dick Moore of Hayward, Calif., Charlie Moore of California and Francis Moore of Pasco, Wash.; two sisters, Fern Whichter of Lakin, Kan., and Ruth Dyson of Wichita, Kan.; five grandchildren; one great-grandson.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Brentwood Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Markum officiating.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville, online at www.mooresfuneralchapel.com.

WEST FORK — Ethel Faye Moore, 77, of West Fork died Aug. 27, 2012, at her home. She was born on July 6, 1915, in Winslow, Ark., to Troy and Ellen Branson.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Fred Brock and George Moore; and daughter, Debbie Brock.

Survivors include her two sons, Dennis Brock of West Fork, and Waco Brock and wife, Debbie, of Louisiana; daughter, Gayly Sweetser and husband, James, of Durham; two brothers, J.C. Branson and wife, Pat, of Cave Springs, and James Branson and wife, Debbie, of Winslow; five sisters, Roberta Gabbard of Winslow, Dorothy Drummond of Brentwood, Patsy Basler of West Fork, Linda Moncrief and husband, David, of Winslow, and Brenda Gann and husband, Bill, of Poteau, Okla.; five grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. at Beards Funeral Chapel.

A graveside service will be held noon Thursday, Aug. 30, 2012, at Brentwood Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Beard's Funeral Chapel.
