Son of Thomas Joseph, Sr. and Mary Peguolasi Privitera.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, John Privitera and a sister, Caroline Privitera. He was a member of St. Jude The Apostle Catholic Church in Jacksonville. He retired from the U.S. Air Force, served in Korea and Vietnam and worked in Civil Service at Little Rock Air Force Base. He later retired from UAMS.

Survivors include his wife, Trubie Nell Privitera of Jacksonville; children: Vickie Blackwood of Dallas, Texas, Ronald Joseph Privitera and his wife Bettina of Jacksonville, John Privitera and his wife Sharon Renee of Jacksonville, Vera Lynn Turner and her husband Ben of Knoxville, Tenn., Angie Aldrich and her husband John of Jacksonville, and Jennifer Anderson and her husband Eric of Benton; one sister, Josephine Lambert of New York; and two brothers: George Privitera of Maryland and Frank Privitera of New York; as well as 18 grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m., Monday, Jan. 7, 2008, at St. Jude The Apostle Catholic Church with Father Les Farley and Father Charles Thessing officiating. Entombment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Visitation is 4-6 p.m., Sunday at St. Jude's Catholic Church.

Trubie Nell Privitera, 78 of Jacksonville, Ark., went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 31, 2012. She was born Nov. 26, 1934 in Haleyville, Alabama to Henry Pickens and Ada Esteen Parson. She was also preceded in death by her husband Thomas Joseph Privitera, brothers: Vernon "Jr" Phillips, Danny "LP" Phillips and sister: Joyce Rudolph. She was a member of the St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church of Jacksonville, AR. She was active in the church, enjoyed crocheting, and loved being around all her grandchildren.

Survivors include children: Vickie Blackwood, Ronald Joseph Privitera and his wife Bettina of Jacksonville. John Privitera and his wife Sharon Renee of Jacksonville, Vera Lynn Turner and her husband Ben of Tenn., Angie Aldrich and her husband John of Jacksonville, and Jennifer Anderson of Benton. Her brothers: Jerry Hampton, Larry Kenneth Phillips, Freddie Parson and sisters: Leda Gobeil and Minnie Lou Reynolds. As well as 18 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral mass will be 10 a.m., Friday, Aug. 3, 2012 at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church with Father Andy Smith officiating. Entombment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park.

Visitation is 5-7pm., Thursday at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church, Rosary will follow at 7pm. Arrangements by Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home (501) 982-2136.
