Carroll Douglas Jackson, age 73, of Lonoke passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2016. He was born September 20, 1942 in Alpine, Arkansas to the late L.C. and Leone Jackson. He was a United States Army veteran and a lifelong auto mechanic. Mr. Jackson enjoyed restoring antique cars, selling cars and collecting cars. He will always be remembered as a proud father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Maryetta Jackson.
He is survived by his children; Lynetta Elaine Kirk and her husband Bobby, Everett Douglas Jackson, Gregory Brown Jackson and his wife Sandra, grandchildren; Meghann Weatherly, Victoria Jackson, Alex Jackson, Tre' Kirk, and Braden Jackson one sister Wanda Ward and one brother Luther Jackson.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 15, 2016 at Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Arrangements by Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home & Crematory (501) 982-2136.

Maryetta Elaine Jackson, age 66, of Lonoke went to be with her Lord on Friday, July 18, 2014. She was born October 31 , 1947 in Parshall, Colorado. She volunteered for Jacksonville Care Channel and Sager Brown. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Jackson was known for her crafting talent. She is survived by her husband, Carroll Douglas Jackson, children; Lynetta Elaine Kirk and her husband Bobby, Everett Douglas Jackson, Gregory Brown Jackson and his wife Sandra, her twin sister, Everetta Roberts and her husband Johnny, her sister, Floydene Hopkins, grandchildren; Meghann Weatherly, Victoria Jackson, Alex Jackson, Tre' Kirk, and Braden Jackson. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, July 21, 2014 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers it was the wish of Mrs. Jackson that memorials be made to the CARTI Foundation P.O. Box 55011 Little Rock, AR 72215. Arrangements by Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home (501) 982-2136.
