July 20, 1957 - April 6, 2020
Lucille Stewart Rideout daughter of the late Sylvester Rogers Sr., and the late Idella (Muh Dear) Vinson, was born July 20,1957, in Fordyce, Arkansas, along with her twin brother, Sylvester Stewart. Lucille gained her wings on Monday, April 6,2020.
Lucille confessed hope and gave her life to Christ at an early age and was baptized at Calvary Baptist Church, in Ivan, Arkansas. She remained a faithful servant until her husband became the Pastor of Pilgrim Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Locust Bayou. She served faithfully until she was unable to do so. Lucille worked for MillCreek Behavior Health until her health failed. She was educated by the Fordyce School system.
Lucille loved being outside with nature. She enjoyed camping , fishing, traveling, and spending time with her loved ones. She loved to cook.
On July 19,1997, Lucille was united in holy matrimony to Rev Feaster Rideout Jr., and this union blended eight girls. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her great grandparents, sister Josephine Rogers, and grandson, Keylan Stewart-Alexander.
She leaves to cherish her memory eight daughters: Stephanie (Marvin) Rogers of Bearden, Arkansas, Juniel Stewart of Conway, Arkansas, Andrea Marshall of Fordyce, Arkansas, Charity (Robert) Metcalf of Conway, Arkansas, LaTeesa (Terrell) Harris of Little Rock, Ar, NeNoah (Christopher) Grissett of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Lillian (Domenique) Harper of Malvern, Arkansas, and Shana Mitchell of Little Rock, Arkansas. Fourteen grandchildren, one great grandson.
Seven siblings (5) brothers and (2) sisters. (3) aunts and (4) uncles and (3) sister in laws and (1) brother in law, a host of nephews and nieces and God children.
Graveside Services will be 2:00pm on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at Canaan-Dixon Cemetery with Moderator Verna Thompson officiating.
Visitation will be from 5:00pm-6:00pm on Friday, April 17, 2020 at Paradise Funeral Home.
