Wallace Williams

U.S Veteran Wallace Williams, 74, of Huntsville,
died June 16. 2012, at the Veterans Healthcare System of the Ozarks in Fayetteville. He was born Oct. 30, 1937, at Harts, W. Va,, the son of Erastus and Ruby Scott Williams.

He served in the United States Navy and was a
member of the Seabees, in which he was stationed at
Midway Island, Okinawa, the Philippines, and Alaska.
He eventually returned to Arkansas and worked for Time Construction, Jack Burge Construction, and then started his own company, Williams Construction. He retired in 2000 and moved back near to where
he was raised in Aurora, where he purchased a farm.
He was known for his work ethic, doing an honest day's work and being a straight shooter (whether people wanted to hear it or not). His passions were helping others, loving his family, and working in his garden, which he considered to be the best thing on this side of Heaven. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by
his parents; four brothers, Kenneth Williams, McKinley "Kenny" 'Williams, Ace Ray Williams and Garcia Williams; and by one sister, Eva Doody.

Survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law,
Steve and Shannon Williams of Farmington and
Clayton and Lisa Williams of Fayetteville; six brothers and three sisters-in-law, Dennis and Jean Williams and Don Williams all of Aurora. David and Michelle Williams of Eureka Springs, Gurney and
Beverly Williams of Arkoma, Okla., Lawrence Williams
of Independence, Mo. and Doug Williams of Hutchenson, Kan,; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Virginia and John Kopecky of Hot Springs, Alma and Howard Perryman of Mount Ida and Delores and Doug Zweig of Chesterfield, Mo.; one grandson, Dustin Williams of Farmington: two grand-daughters, Teighlor Williams and McKenleigh Williams, both of Farmington and countless cousins, nephews, nieces and friends who have shared a love for him during his 74 years on this earth.

Funeral services were held Wednesday. June 20 in
the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Reagan
Glenn, minister officiating. Interment was in the Venus Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home. Pallbearers were: Jeremy Dillon, Patrick Dillon, Fabian Bauer, Kenny Williams, Joe Williams and Chris Williams. Honorary pallbearers were: Jeff Barnes, Jason Zweig, Gurney Williams, Jr., Russell Williams, John Kopecky, Donnie Williams, Jarnes Williams, Herb Doody and Jeremy Williams,.
