When Winfield Scott Waymire was born on November 7, 1856, in Frankton, Indiana, his father, Noah, was 46 and his mother, Mary, was 41. He married Ella Robbins and they had two children together. He then married Nancy Melvinia Biddle and they had nine children together. He died on February 25, 1946, in Lonoke, Arkansas, at the age of 89.

When Nancy Melvinia Biddle was born on October 1, 1874, in Oklahoma, her father, William, was 31, and her mother, Tennessee, was 21. She married Winfield Scott Waymire on May 19, 1892, in Cross, Arkansas. They had nine children in 21 years. She died on July 15, 1966, in Beebe, Arkansas, at the age of 91, and was buried there.
