Jimmie Nell Hamilton, 79, of Lonoke died Saturday, October 1, 2016. She was born April 4, 1937 in Lake Village to the late Albert Carl and Maddie Blanche Pamplin Cotton. Mrs. Hamilton was of the Baptist faith. She worked for Maybelline and retired in 1999 after 24 years. Following retirement, Mrs. Hamilton enjoyed travelling with her husband, Howard. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hamilton was preceded in death by her sisters, Inez Cooper and Aileen Hopkins and brothers, Don Raymond Cotton, Billy Wayne Cotton, Dan Cotton and Vale Cotton.

Mrs. Hamilton is survived by her husband, Howard Hamilton of Lonoke, daughters, Renee Tacker of Phoenix, Arizona and Tammy Tabor of Sherwood; step-son, Jeff Byrd of Manila; step-daughters, Jamie Morris of Hernando, Mississippi and Michelle Wall of Belton, Texas; siblings, Doyle Cotton, Glenda Sue Graham, Rita Barbie, Sandy Cotton and Kenneth Cotton; three grandchildren and a host of great and great-great grandchildren, other family and friends.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2016 in the chapel of Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home with entombment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday. Arrangements are by Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home (501)982-2136.
