Curtis Parker, 70, of Urbana, died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2017 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House.
He was born on March 9, 1947 in Urbana, to Ellis T. Parker Sr. and Mayola Gaines Parker. He was a retired employee of Georgia Pacific in Crossett. He was a member of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Urbana.
Survivors are his wife, Dedra Yvonne Hoof Parker of Urbana; seven sons, Irving Parker and Brandon Parker of Urbana, Corey Parker of North Little Rock, Curtis E. Parker and Bryan Parker of Dallas, Texas, Mark Parker of Oakland, California and Michael Parker of Mountain House,California; one daughter, Kim Aubrey of Urbana; two sisters, Sherry Levingston of Urbana and Mary Ann Owens of Dallas, Texas.
Services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 12, 2017 at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Urbana.
Burial will follow in Mount Zion Cemetery in Urbana under the direction of Andrews Funeral Home.
Public viewing will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. today and 8 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
